Welcome to the Magsig Science Olympiad!
SO is an extra-curricular activity involving interactive problem solving, studying and engineering. A student must be responsible, self-directed, motivated and good at follow through. We understand that students may be involved in other activities therefore students are responsible for staying in touch with event coaches and making an effort to meet as often as possible. Generally, practices are once a week for each event.

Magsig SO 2026-2027 Registration Links and Payment Due Dates
The Magsig Science Olympiad program is for all Magsig Middle School students in 6th through 9th grade interested in advancing their understanding and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). 6th-8th grade is open enrollment; 9th-grade enrollment is only for Magsig Middle School alumni and is by invitation of the team coach.
Online Student Registration Form DUE by September 11, 2026.
Students may register after the September 11 deadline but may miss practices that have already started. Some event practices will start the week of August 31.

EMA DUE by September 11, 2026, turned into the school office and designated for Science Olympiad.
Magsig SO Registration/Materials Fee Payment ($140) is DUE no later than September 25, 2026. Check is to be made out to: Centerville Science Olympiad Organization and turned into the school office.
Centerville Schools Pay-to-Participate Fee Payment ($54) will be billed directly to your students school account.
Overnight tournament fees (for students on overnight competition rosters) are DUE 1 week before the overnight tournament.

Event Sign Ups
Students must complete the form below to sign up for events.
This form will be closed after Sept. 11, 2026.
Important!!!
Choose your events base on your interest, not your friends, and not when the practices are scheduled. The schedules might change.
You must choose some study events. If you are choosing Build Events, you may choose no more that 2 Build events. (You do not have to choose Build Events.)

Once you are registered and have received access to the Magsig SO Internal page (access is not automatic after you register, it may take a day), you can check the link at the top of this page to view the Coaches Contact Information & Practice Times.
Throughout the year STAY IN CONTACT with your coaches.
Listen to announcements, check with your coaches regularly, check your e-mail daily!!!
