Magsig Science Olympiad

The Magsig MS Science Olympiad (Magsig SO) program is for all Magsig MS students in 6th through 9th grade interested in advancing their understanding and interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). 6th-8th grade is open enrollment; 9th-grade enrollment is only for Magsig MS alumni and by invitation of the head coach only. 

Student Registration Form is DUE on September 24, 2023

All remaining registration forms are DUE on October 2, 2023

Student Registration payments are DUE on December 2, 2023

Overnight tournament payments (only for students on overnight competition rosters) are DUE 1 week prior to each overnight competition

Step 1:  Students Complete the Initial Sign-Up Form (Due Sep 24, 2023)

Step 2: Download, Print, Sign, and Return remaining registration documents to the Head Coach in person or to the Magsig MS Office (Due Oct 2, 2023)

• Student Code of Conduct (retain a copy for your student records)

• Parent Acknowledgements (retain a copy for your records)

• Emergency Medical Form

• Medication Authorization for Field Trips (may need provider signature)

• (If Applicable) Emergency Allergy Plan / Epi-Pen (requires provider signature)

• (If Applicable) Asthma Action Plan (requires provider signature)

Step 3: Download and review Expectations, Coaches' Contacts, Tournament Schedules, and Parent Volunteer Opportunities

Step 4: Complete Registration Forms using Google Forms (Due Oct 2, 2023)

• Photo Release Form

• Food and Allergies Accommodations

• Parent Support/Volunteer Opportunities

Step 5: Return all completed documents (Due Oct 2, 2023)

Step 6: Regisgtration Payment: Turn into Head Coach or in an envelope labeled SCIENCE OLYMPIAD to Magsig MS Office (ASAP or Due by Dec 2, 2023)

• $100 Materials Fee: Check made out to "Centerville Science Olympiad Organization"

• $45 Pay to Participate Fee: Check made out to "Centerville City Schools"
